Fathers & Sons Pt. 5
Gen.4:1-2 “Now Adam had sexual relations with his wife, Eve, and she became pregnant. When she gave birth to Cain, she said, With the Lord’s help, I have produced a man! (2) Later, she gave birth to his brother and named him Abel. When they grew up, Abel became a shepherd, while Cain cultivated the ground.”
Please note that the first man and woman had two sons. In every boy there is a man, and in every man, there is a husband. In every husband, there is a father. In every father, there is a family, and in every family, there is a kingdom. And every kingdom needs a king! Kingdoms come from families, but kings come from fathers. Fathers have a divine task to not only father sons, but to raise them to become kings. The question is not whether fathers can prepare them for kingship, but rather, can fathers equip them to reign.
